YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
Placing a family member in long-term care or an assisted living community is a family decision where many emotions are involved. Elderology offers family psychotherapy sessions to ease feelings of guilt, grief, loss, and more. These sessions can be conducted with or without the resident. Additionally, we can offer an array of resources to families that will help aid in other areas involved with these huge transitions.
Elderology can offer a monthly support group for families living in long-term care and assisting living communities. We believe that you should never feel alone on this difficult journey. Combined with compassion and professional knowledge, our therapists help families understand that many of the emotions and situations they are experiencing are not uncommon.
